Interior Design - Associate Degree and Interior Decorating - Diploma: Starting with Basic Drafting and Drawing Principles the program moves quickly to developing floor plans both two and three-dimensional. Universal design is a unique compliment to the standard program. Single space residential design progresses to commercial design. Kitchen and bath design develops to restaurant and bar design. Throughout the program we increase our understanding of textiles, furniture, lighting, window and wall treatments, architectural materials, and interior accessories. Classes in selling techniques, design business practices, and professional development insure the graduate is prepared for entry-level position as a designer or consultant either as a freelancer or with a design studio or service. The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) approves the program and Antonelli College has a student chapter.
